Resignation

Elphe is an employment platform which employs Indian IT talent on behalf of foreign companies. Based on this the following terms can be defined. Elphe is the “employer”, the talent employed is the “employee” and the foreign company is the “client”.

This article will briefly explain the resignation procedure for employees employed with Elphe.

When an employee decides to resign, he or she optionally communicates the intention to resign to the client and if possible seek agreement on both the decision to resign and the last working day. This is recommended because right from the beginning the employee will be working directly with the client and it is better if the client hears about it from the employee rather than our HR team. The employee is also advised to honour the previously agreed upon notice period to ensure a smooth transition.

The employee must send a formal resignation letter to hr@elphe.net, upon receiving which our HR team will liaise with the client and communicate the acceptance of resignation as a reply to the email. Close to the last working day our HR team will undertake the leaving formalities which will include the relieving letter, final settlement and the last payslip.

If you have more questions about resignation, please write to hr@elphe.net.
